Here’s a short film inspired by the infamous Miryang rape incident that happened in 2004. [Georgia] is based on a concept of an ‘unforgivable sin’ and tells a story of a couple who calls for re-investigation of their daughter’s death. As the winner of 36 accolades across various film festivals and events, a chairman of a film festival said “an empty space may have more to say than countless words” after watching it. Director Jayil Park tells what made him write the scenario and how he developed his characters.
