Here’s a short film that sets up a question in our minds over the disturbing reality of our society. As one of the short films screened at the 22nd Jeonju International Film Festival as a non-competitive category, [Wasteland] navigates through the madness and greed of people who are pushed into a tragic incident over a land redevelopment project. Director Lee Tack walks us through his personal stories related to land and the ways he built the film’s characters.
