The World On arirang

Here’s a short horror film that’s designed to cool down the summery heat! We start a two-week segment highlighting two horror flicks that demonstrate new approaches and unique perspectives of short films. The first film [mould] revolves around an intangible form of fear and anxiety that emerges following a mysterious lady’s appearance. A crowd-pleaser at the Bucheon International Film Festival and the Sitges Film Festival directly delivers to audiences the fear and uneasy emotions that the lead character experiences throughout the movie. Director Park Chun-kyu tells us how he decided to star in the film and how he adopted the ideas from Korean and Japanese folktales into making the movie.
