On June 27th last year, major cities worldwide held a parade and festival supporting sexual minorities. We introduce our viewers to a short film that touches upon various perceptions of discrimination and hatred towards such a group of people. [A Good Mother] is a film that revolves around a teacher whose daughter is a sexual minority. She gets drawn into a conversation about sexual minorities with her colleagues, illustrating various dimensions of how people see sexual minorities. Starred in the film herself, director Lee Yu-jin tells us how she developed the characters that appear throughout the movie and what response her movie drew from foreign film festivals.
