[71st Anniversary of the Korean War] Marking the 71st anniversary of the Korean War, we introduce to our viewers a film that revolves around an incident at Panmunjeom, where the two Koreas are faced with each other. [Air Conditioner in Panmunjeom] is a black comedy movie about an incident that a technician experiences while fixing a broken air conditioner on the inter-Korean border. The grand prize winner of the 9th Chungmuro Short Film Festival and the winner of the independent award at the 18th Florence Korea Film Fest, the movie successfully captured the attention of both domestic and foreign cinephiles. The film’s director Lee Tae-hun tells us the backstory of how the movie was created and his ideas in putting together the movie.
