E-Sports Boom in Korea
The League of Legends Champions Korea, or LCK, a massively popular professional e-sports league, kicked off in Korea last month. A total of ten teams are competing in the LCK regular season. Competitive video-gaming, or e-sports have now become a spectator sport, played in front of huge audiences and broadcast live on TV.
