O2O (Online to Offline) services are making their way into various aspects of our lives, as they connect the on and offline worlds. Through these O2O services, users are enjoying optimized consumer activities. From the now familiar food delivery services to housekeeping, dry cleaning and even car maintenance, the relevant fields are so diverse that it's harder to find a service that isn't covered.
The O2O service market in Korea currently amounts to roughly 270 billion dollars. By 2020, that figure is expected to grow to over 900 billion dollars. With O2O services in the spotlight as a new business models, related start-ups are being actively launched. Major corporations are also adding O2O services to their existing business operations in an attempt to diversify. Competition to dominate the O2O service market is intensifying.
