[Economy] The beginning of Korea-China free trade negotiations
 
Seoul and Beijing just launched the first round of negotiations for a free trade deal between Korea and China. If the two countries eventually sign the deal, Korea will have free trade agreements with three of the world's biggest economies ¡ª the US, the EU, and China. Observers say that a Korea-China FTA will have a greater impact on Korea than the KORUS FTA. "Insight" discovers how a free trade treaty between the two nations will affect different Korean industries, especially agriculture and manufacturing, and the local economy.

Will North Korea push through with its third round of nuclear tests? Foreign media outlets report that Pyongyang will conduct nuclear tests very soon because it tried to launch a long-range rocket last month. The five permanent members of the UN Security Council, including the US and China, have urged North Korea to refrain from any nuclear tests. Earlier this month, the Security Council also imposed sanctions against three North Korean firms that allegedly have ties to the country's ballistic missile industry. "Insight" does an up-to-date analysis on the latest nuclear developments on the Korean Peninsula.
