The Han Family is made up of Korean Taekwondo instructor Han Bae-hyun, his American wife and their two sons and three daughters. They are a martial arts family, and all 5 children have been trained in Taekwondo, kick-boxing, boxing and wrestling.
The oldest, Jennifer Han(26) has a level 3 national boxing coach license. She is a six-time National Boxing Champion, a IKW World Classic Kickboxing Champion and a Ringside Champion. Jennifer was selected to the first ever USA Women’s World Boxing Team.
Abraham Han(25) was the US Kickboxing champion and entered the world of professional boxing in 2007. He is receiving much attention for his record of no loses and high KO winning rate.
Israel Han(22) is currently an amateur boxer despite recovering from a major hip surgery at age 20.
The youngest Stephanie Han and Heather Han(19) are twins. Stephanie was the gold medalist in Taekwondo in the Junior Olympics and was Kickboxing champion in the 2005-2007 IKF & WAKO Kickboxing Championships. As an amateur boxer she also won the Ringside World Boxing Championship in 2007. The boxer also received a scholarship from UTEP. The youngest, Heather won the champion’s belt at the National PAL Boxing Championship last year, showing her potential as a boxer.
Their ultimate goal is to win the Olympic gold! We visit the famous martial arts family, the Han’s, training hard in the gym.
