The World On arirang

June 30, 2009, at the beginning of a sweltering summer, undergrads from all over the country have gathered at Daejeon Station.

Students are excited and full of expectation. This is the 5th year that Korea Land & Housing Corporation has organized this event which targets college students.

Due to the keen interest in the environment, this year’s competitive rate set a record of 150 to 1. After reviewing applications, written exams and interviews and taking into account age, region and school, the committee selected 80 Korean and foreign students.

Aware of the importance of the expedition which is organized to raise awareness of the importance of Korea’s land and ecosystem, the students are full of eager anticipation. Let’s follow the 11 day expedition that seeks to discover Korea’s greenery.
