Kim Su-young is a best-selling author, power blogger, marketer, entrepreneur, inspirational speaker, actress, documentary filmmaker, photographer, translator, yogi and most importantly, a DREAMER. Kim was a 'troubled kid' who went to a vocational high school after dropping out of Middle School. People laughed at her dream of soaring above the ranks of 'losers' and becoming a journalist and dismissed it as absurd. But her most passionate dreams came true as she won a student quiz bowl and entered a top university. She won a journalist award as a student reporter and worked at Goldman Sachs after graduating from university but soon found out that she had cancer growing inside her. In reaction, she made a list of her dreams-the seventy-three things she wanted to do before she died. From then on, she has fulfilled or is in progress of fulfilling 42 of her 73 dreams (later expanded to 83), such as having a career abroad, musical performance, climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro, travelling 70 countries and building her parents a house. Based on these experiences, she published her memoir 'Write Your Dreams, Write Your Future' in Korea 2010 to fulfill her dream of inspiring others.
"There are no perfect circumstances to realize your dreams," Kim said. 'Prepare things the best you can in your present situation and don't be afraid of failing. You'll find out there really is nothing to it. If you fail, just try again! Life is a lot longer than you think.'
