'A Tale of Two Cities' is originally a novel written by British novelist, Charles Dickens. It was re-produced as a musical, and the critics raved about the musical saying that 'A Tale of Two Cities' will become another world class musical following 'Les Miserables' and 'The Phantom of the Opera' when it was first premiered in Broadway.
And here we have two original cast members of the musical, James Barbour and Brandi Burkhardt. Barbour, who played Sydney Carlton in the musical, is considered one of the most sought-after performers on Broadway today. He won several musical prizes and he's constantly making various efforts to develop new works for the industry,s leading writers and composers. And Burkhardt, who played Lucie Manette, is a rising star with crystalline voice and her work spans the world of theatre, television, film, live concert performance and recordings. And as to celebrate the musical's premiere in Korea, they paid a visit to Korea.
On today's HEART TO HEART, we've invited two of the greatest musical actors of our time to talk about their worlds of musical and their life in music.
