- Media Artist, Han Ho
The Venice Biennale, one of the world's largest art exhibitions, has been held every odd-numbered year since 1895.
The exhibition's theme for its 2015 exhibition is "Personal Structures," and Korean media artist Han Ho has been invited to participate in the Biennale's special exhibition. For 17 years Han Ho has been creating art that revolves around a theme he calls "Eternal Light," in cities such as New York, Beijing and Paris. His work pushes ordinary boundaries, integrating paintings with other unconventional media, and many have called him the successor to world-renown video artist Nam June Paik's legacy. Through his art Han Ho explores subjects such as human nature, inner conflict, and hope.
This week on [Heart to Heart], we talk with Han Ho, an admired media artist participating in the 2015 Venice Biennale, whose works always display a nuanced interplay of both reason and emotion, within one innovative piece of art.
