A Jazz Pianist Who Married the Actress Kang Sung-yeon – Kim Ga-on
Presenting modern interpretation of standard jazz to different arrangements that create a new twist, the jazz pianist Kim Ga-on is a musician who experiments with diverse genres ranging from bebop and Latin to funk and contemporary. After graduating from Department of Music Composition and Theology at Seoul National University, he studied at Berkeley School of Music and New York University to become a jazz musician. With his outstanding technique and refined sentiments, he is leading a busy career as a performer and a teacher. On January 7th, he married the popular Korean actor Kang Sung-yeon. On today’s heart to Heart, we have invited Kim Ga-on, a jazz pianist who caputres the fre spirit in wide genres and styles of music.
