FT Island, Korea's one and only idol band with a combination of talent and skills, have added a new member to their group, and are giving a shot at soaring as high as they could. Let's meet FT Island, who are back with their first mini album, "Jump up!"

We came to a clothing catalog shooting set to meet the FT Island members. The style change of FT Island's leader Jong-hun stood out the most.

The FT Island members each posed with distinct individuality. No doubt, FT Island's biggest attraction is their mischievous and care-free appearances.

But when they sing, FT Island becomes very serious. Through their new album "Jump Up," they've completely shaken off the 2nd year debut jinx. For this, the addition of their new member Song Seung-hyun played a strong role.
Following the title song "Bad Woman," FT Island's recent follow-up song "Missing You" is being loved by everyone. Above all, this piece expresses FT Island's characteristics - their touching and appealing voices.

In 2007, the 5 members of FT Island were made up of Lee Hong-gi, Choi Jong-hun, Oh Won-bin, Choi Min-hwan, and Lee Jae-jin. They've freed themselves from the typical existing idol group, and became well-known as a "ggotminam band," who personally play the instruments.

Not only is FT Island acquisitive about music, they are ambitious about becoming entertainers. From vocalist Lee Hong-gi who used to be a child actor, to Song Seung-hyun, the youngest, who just joined the group, all the members are working hard in various fields of the entertainment industry.

Appealing to the public with the friendly image of a next-door neighbor, or a baby brother is the advantage of FT Island, but at times, adequate image management helps maintain their popularity.

Since debuting 2 years ago, FT Island was able to firmly set their territory in the music world, all because of their invisible supporters, their fans.

FT Island repeatedly thinks seriously between "popular group" and "talented band", when they come to the fork of a road. The mere troubles they anguish over look beautiful because music is their only hope and dream.

FT Island - 5 cuties who are walking together towards their goal and are full of charms! We hope they become a band that continues to develop and improve themselves.
