"Gosa : Blood Exams," or "Death Bell," has received a lot of attention with the status of being the ONLY Korean horror movie to be produced this summer.
Today was the premiere for "Death Bell" and there were as many stars as there were press in the theater. Lee Beom-soo's celebrity friends were here to wish him well!

The movie is set at a highschool and the horror begins when the school starts special classes for students with academic excellence.
Questions are asked and only the right answers can save the students' lives, the wrong answers have bloody consequences.

Lee Beom-soo plays the devoted Korean Lit. teacher, "Hwang Chang-wook," who's smart, charismatic and warm-hearted. But there's a hidden side to the character that was revealed at PiFan, the Pucheon International Fantastic Film Festival, last month!

A girl's best friend, a gangster with no morals, an unruly detective, or a 12-year old boy with the rare premature-aging disorder, progeria!
Lee Beom-soo internalizes his characters so well, we had to wonder what the actor was really like!

In "Surgeon Bong Dal-hee," his performance got him the nickname, "Raging Beom-soo."
In "On-Air", the hottest drama of the first half of 2008, his role as the caring, wonderful celebrity agent got him the love of all tv audiences. Fans adored him.

In 1990, he debuted with a bit part as a student. Eighteen years have flown by and Lee Beom-soo has become a respected and admired actor.
It was patience, passion and experience that brought him here.

Lee Beom-soo's role in his new horror flick is a far cry from the "ideal man" that he had played in his previous production - not to mention, it's his FIRST scary movie!
It was enough to get US anxious about the movie's release, but the actor took it all in stride!
