As soon as it¡¯s released by the artist, we say, ¡°bring it on¡± and we will spin it on the Groove but only if its HOT! The E-Groove is where you will find the latest information on what¡¯s going on in Korea, musicians & Hallyu stars, events that are a must go!, putting your money where your mouth is, hearing what Korea is like straight from the ex-pats or visitors to Korea, hearing what you may want to hear as well as songs that are requested, we will play it and even a shout out! The latest trends. We must include that we give out the best prizes and or even the shirt off our backs! ^_- (wink) and of course the hottest tickets for concerts are given away on our Evening Groove! It all happens and more on the Evening Groove!

A time to share to the world of what¡¯s going on with our ¡°Kool¡± Koreans and in Korea! The latest trends and trendsetters. This is a window into a better understanding of Korea and the culture. Simply to put it, Korea today!
 
The World for Korea (Fri~Sun., Part 1)  
This segment on the weekend is allowing our Koreans to hear of what¡¯s going on around the world, the world¡¯s trend and changes, to broaden our minds here in Korea. The world today!
 
I¡¯m a Grooooooover! (Kate Park & Olivia Ih-Prost¡¯s street interviews) Mon~Fri  
On the street, interviews are done by our very own Kate & Olivia. Foreigners from all over the world and all walks of life visiting Korea as well as ex-pats who have made Korea their home request a song and share a bit of their own personal experiences here in Korea.
 
Hot! K-Pop (Mon~Sun, Part 2)  
A segment to keep up-to-date with the hottest Korean pop charts straight off the release, complete with explanations on what to listen for. You get to taste a part of the song and then we don¡¯t let you miss a beat and let you hear it all over from the beginning. Let us know if its ¡°HOT¡± or ¡°NOT¡±!
 
Evening Tip (Mon~Thurs, Part 3)  
Kate Park and Olivia Ih-Prost gives us a daily evening tip to help us get through the night or to wake up to the next morning. Like an evening vitamin~ they will help you destress and or giving the groovers a special regiment and exercise to follow, along with their own hand-picked songs.
 
DJ Yup¡¯s Groovin¡¯ Mix (Fri~Sat Part 3)  
Dj Yup¡¯s groovin¡¯ mix~ is a time where the clubbers and clubettes come on out at night~ so we in reverse bring you the latest club mix to your own living rooms and cars. Friday and Saturday nights~ are all times we can listen to the latest Seoul Hip Hop club mixes going on in Seoul¡¦ a heart of the club Seoul mixes created by DJ Yup! He¡¯s is the hottest club DJ and Live mixin¡¯ DJ in Seoul and also performs in other countries as well. Groovers you get to hear him straight out of our Evening Groove on the weekends!

Monday:

 

Shocking Monday¡¯s w/ ONE WAY! (Get a chance to meet CHANCE (Mike), Peter, and Young Sky)
This Band ONE WAY has but only ONE WAY to go¡¦ which is UP and they will blow up, in fact they have been blowing up our message board w/ all their fans who leave them all kinds of messages! The most awesome rap and R& B, FUNK, Hip Hop sound you can get Live right out on totally pickin¡¯ you up on a Monday evening!
   
1) One Way will act out their personal Korean cultural experiences here in Korea and we will all discuss what¡¯s on their minds here in their daily stardom lives.

2) We will connect w/ a caller and discuss how much they know Korea and throw them a quiz once in a while.

3) Possible special guest interviews.

 
Tuesday:  

Jazzy Jazzlife w/ Danny Jung (Danny Jung – Saxophonist)
A Chance to meet and listen to Danny Jung (The Kenny G. of Korea) and Danny¡¯s handpicked songs that¡¯s a must hear on a Tuesday evening. It can be the latest Jazz or a slow tune that we can relax with and bounce our heads up and down

1) Danny shares with us information of the artist and the song he chose. This is from a worldwide selection.

2) We will call one of our groovers who may have questions for the picks and or just a question in general about Korea and songs too.

3) Danny shares of his experiences of living in Korea and also his saxophone life.


 

Wednesday:

 

1) Chillin¡¯ with Johan (Kim, Johan former member of ¡°SOLID¡± kind of our Korean Boyz to men group back in the day, Beatles like and these days much similar to Jay-Z)
- This is when we get to release the stress of the ¡°Hump day¡± and we can wind down with Johan and allow ourselves to de-stress. His voice will prove to you of how he is a living legend of K-pops. The younger generation re-making his songs even. We have been very lucky to be able to have Johan as a guest to chill with when we need it the most! He shares with us such compelling stories of the K-pop industry of how far we have come with it in Korea and his input as it goes worldwide.
  
2) Singing Man & Groovers¡¯ Hot Request (Listener's Interview and Request a Song by the Phone, Part 4)
- Listeners from Korea and abroad join in for a telephone quiz related to a song sung live by Johan Kim, himself and for real-time song requests. You don¡¯t want to miss out on this!

 
Thursday:  

1) "Seoul Cents" (Jonathan Carfield who knows his finances and also how to have fun within your budget)  
- Jonathan has lived in NYC who has a finance background; just as intelligent in making money but also very smart in spending it too. He allows us to listen to him experiencing Korea first hand and how to stretch your dollars and wons for a full weekend ahead. Also as an added bonus he lets us know about the world trend in how the world is saving money these days!

2) Your K-IQ (Listener's Telephone Interview & Quiz, part 4)
- Your time to talk with DJ Dorothy and Jonathan and as he passes out some great tickets or prizes after a well thought out quiz question dealing with Korea.

3) Special Interview (Segments 3,4)
-  There are some special Thursdays where we have a surprise special interview for our Groovers~ this could happen randomly, to give our Thursdays some spunk!

 

Friday:

 

1) Backstage Pass to the Stars (Irene Tae & DJ Shine, part 3~4)
- Join interpreter Irene Tae, who specializes in interpreting for pop musicians in Korea, together with a famous rapper DJ Shine (Mark Yim, former member of Drunken Tiger) to hear all about the backstage stories along with artists' lives and their music. Songs hand-picked by Irene and DJ Shine!

 
Saturday:  

1) Top 3 Out Of This World (Eugene Rhee, Part 2)
- Tune in to the hottest trends not only in Korea but throughout the world with Top 3 lists for global trends or simply top 3 of a "must talk". A great opportunity for Korean listeners to learn new English expressions and find out what issues are being talked about all around the world. Such great picks of themes by Eugene Rhee and his handpicked unique song to be played!

2) K-Pop Now & Then (James Kim (Se Hwang Kim), NEXT Guitarist/Part 3, 4)    
- James Kim gives us backstage stories of the K-pop scene and gems of Korean pop from 1990's through the new millennium. He shares with us the K-pop legends who changed the music industry in Korea! Let us brag about him too~ he is known as the ¡°ultimate guitarist¡± in Korea!

 
Sunday  

1) Groovin' Expressions (DJ Dorothy, Part 2) 
- Here's a chance for listeners to find out what those lyrics are all about on the latest pop songs, with DJ Dorothy's picks of the hottest pop tracks topping the charts. It's English through music! So, have fun listen to the music and also finally know what it means. Catered for English language learning Groovers all around the world! Not only to understand but to be able to use the right expression at the right time! To help our coolest Groovers to be even cooler and not clumsier!

2) What's Up Korea? (Yoav Cerralbo, Korea Herald Reporter, Part 3, 4)
- Yoav Cerralbo delivers the "creme de la creme" of concerts, performances, exhibitions, festivals and events staged by Koreans and foreigners alike in Korea. The "must see's" in Korea and ¡°must visit¡± places. Yoav also writes for the Korea Herald, Diplomatic Affairs. So he gives us events to know about; some of them haven¡¯t even been released publicly yet!
