Tougher parking regulations in Seoul will go into effect starting March 1st with the constant surveillance of illegal parking in prohibited areas city officials said Monday.
Parking violations will be monitored constantly between 7 A.M and 10 P.M on weekdays and between 1 P.M and 9 P.M on weekends followed by the immediate tow of the vehicle if it is parked in any area newly designated as a "special crackdown zone".
Seoul has also unified the different parking regulation standards of the 25 autonomous districts down to a single set of rules and posted all regulation-related information on district websites to enhance efficiency.
