Kim Yu-na Makes World Record at Trophee Eric Bompard

Korea's world figure skating champion Kim Yu-na set ANOTHER world record at the Trophee Eric Bompard in Paris on Saturday breaking her previous record set back in March.
All eyes are now on the figure-skating queen as she is expected to grab the gold medal in next year's Vancouver Winter Olympics.

Jang Souie has more.
She has done it again.
Korea's figure skating sensation Kim Yu-na set a new world record at the Trophee Eric Bompard held inris proving herself as the world's best once more.
After coming in first with over 76 points in the women's short program on Friday the nineteen-year-old won overall more than 210 points on Saturday leaving her Japanese rival Mao Asada at a distant second with around 174 points.
The new record breaks that of the world championship competition in March which was over 207 points set by Kim Yu-na herself.
Ranking number one in the first event of the 2009/2010 Grand Prix series makes it Kim's sixth Grand Prix title in a row since 2006.
And the new world record was earned despite missing a triple flip.
Experts say if she were in better condition and had avoided any mistakes she could have set an even higher record of over 220 points.

Vice President Lee Ji-hee of the Korea Skating Union who took part in the Trophee Eric Bompard as a referee quoted other referees of the competition as saying that Kim Yu-na will be the gold medal winner of next year's Winter Olympics to be held in Vancouver.
Kim will be flying back to Canada to prepare for Skate America scheduled to take place in New York next month.
