In Kenya with the country seeing fallout in the wake of its controversial presidential election.
Just hours after sitting vice-president William Ruto was declared Kenya's 5th president-elect, his rival Raila Odinga on Tuesday called for the result to be nullified saying he will look into (quote) "all legal options,".
This comes after a neck-in-neck presidential race, where Ruto pulled ahead with 50.5-percent of the vote.
Four of seven senior election officials, including the election commission's deputy chairperson, had already disowned Monday's election results, citiing a lack of transparency.
However an independent observer group said it sent over 5-thousand watchers across 290 constituencies nationwide and that election results lined up with their own count.
Meanwhile, police confirmed the discovery of an election official's body late on Monday amid reports of threats against electoral officers.
