War in Ukraine records 12,584 civilian casualties, 352 deaths in children for five months Updated: 2022-08-09 22:02:29 KST

According to the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Ukraine has recorded over 12-thousand civilian casualties, including 352 deaths among children, from the start of the war on February 24th through the end of July.
The war has also caused the worst refugee crisis in Europe since World War II.
Almost 6.3 million people are displaced within Ukraine, and over 9.5 million people have fled the country.
The South Korean unit of the NGO Save the Children has raised roughly 6-hundred-thousand U.S. dollars and has helped more than 3-hundred-60-thousand refugees, including over 2-hundred-thousand children.
Save the Children Korea is accepting donations through their website to help Ukraine's children and their families.
