Hyundai Motor Group's total domestic sales of eco-friendly cars has now crossed over a million.
The South Korean auto giant said Monday that it sold more than 29-thousand eco-friendly vehicles in July, bringing total domestic sales to date to just over 1.zero-two million.
Its best-seller was the Grandeur hybrid, with cumulative sales over 180-thousand.
The release of a new Grandeur model in the second half of the year is expected to push the figure to 200-hundred thousand.
Hyundai's million-unit milestone comes around 13 years after its first eco-friendly car hit the market the Avante hybrid.
