The last of the four cube-shaped nano-satellites carried into space by South Korea's homegrown launch vehicle Nuri has been successfully ejected.
South Korea's Ministry of Science and ICT confirmed on Wednesday that the CubeSats, made by researchers at universities in South Korea, had all been released from the performance verification orbiter on Nuri.
The first to be ejected was made by Chosun University ejecting on June 29.
Then, the satellites from KAIST and Seoul National University were ejected before Yonsei University's satellite was released on Tuesday.
Two of the four satellites have succeeded in two-way communication with the ground station.
Those two satellites will undergo functional inspections before orbiting the Earth four to five times a day to collect information on South Korea's geography and atmospheric environment.
