The very first high-ranking consultative meeting between officials from the ruling party, the government and the presidential office took place this morning.
And being the first such meeting since the start of the Yoon administration, it was attended by the People Power Party's chairman Lee Jun-seok, its floor leader Kweon Seong-dong, Prime Minister Han Duck-soo and Presidential Chief of Staff Kim Dae-ki.
In his opening remarks, the PPP chairman spoke about the importance of protecting peoples' livelihoods by carrying out policies effectively.
Prime Minister Han said the Yoon administration is taking responsibility for the economy, and agreed that the administration needs to work with the Party and its lawmakers.
