The South Korean government may offer more people a fourth COVID-19 vaccine.
South Korea started giving fourth doses of COVID-19 vaccines in February to vulnerable groups, including those aged 60 or older.
But due to Omicron sub-variants causing an uptick in daily new cases, health authorities are discussing expanding eligibility for the fourth dose to everybody.
South Korea reported 19-thousand 3-hundred-71 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday continuing its uptick trend.
There were 7 more deaths reported, and 61 patients who are currently severely ill.
