Good morning. Monsoon rain makes its return at the start of the last week of June, getting ready to drop rain across Korea the capital will see rain after lunch time.
The further north you are, the heavier the rainfall you could get through tomorrow with up to 150 millimeters of rain in the forecast in north-central regions.
Not only has the monsoon season come early this year but also many regions had the season's first tropical nights over the weekend, which is a couple of weeks earlier than usual Seoul had the warmest June night in 25 years last night.
Though, highs won't go up too high today, Seoul at 26 degrees Celsius, Daegu and Gwangju at 29.
The monsoon front stays with us through the week along with very high humidity in fact, the risk of food poisoning is at its highest level across Korea, be mindful of food safety.
