South Korea's foreign minister, Park Jin, and his UAE counterpart Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, have vowed to activate high-level interactions between the two countries such as through Special Strategic Dialogue.
During a phone call on Thursday, both also shared their commitment to cooperating on future and new growth fields like climate change and space.
The UAE foreign minister congratulated Park on his appointment as Seoul's foreign minister, while the two diplomats said the will stay in close touch in order to boost coordination in various areas.
