South Korea and Japan have agreed to resume flights between two airports in their respective capitals Gimpo airport in Seoul, and Haneda airport in Tokyo.
The South Korean Transport Ministry says flights will resume from June 29th.
Service was suspended more than two years ago due to the pandemic.
There will be eight flights a week two each on Korean Air, Asiana Airlines, Japan Airlines, and ANA.
In talks at the start of the Yoon administration, the South Korea and Japanese governments had agreed that resuming flights would be a priority in the process of rebuilding bilateral ties.
