A low pressure system is moving in from the south of the Peninsula. This will drop showers across southern regions and the East Coast tomorrow. Coastal regions of the Gyeongsang-do provinces and Jeju Island will see 10 to 40 millimeters. The rest of southern regions, including Jeolla-do and inland regions of Gyeongsang-do provinces will see 5 to 20 millimeters. Because of the instability in the atmosphere, thunder and lightning may follow at times.
This coming Wednesday, South Korea's first homegrown space rocket, Nuri, is set for a second launch. It will be taking off from Naro Space Center in Goheung, Jeollanam-do Province. Tomorrow, the rocket is scheduled to be transported to the launch pad. But, we are tracking chances of rain in Goheung. The amount of rainfall will be fairly trivial though, and weather conditions will be overall good on Wednesday.
Morning lows in Seoul and Busan will start off at 18 degrees Celsius.
As for the daily highs, Seoul will get up to 29 degrees. Busan 22. Daejeon and Gwangju 25 degrees.
Southern parts of the country will see showers again beginning next week.
