Summer-like heat will make a return tomorrow here in South Korea. Expect conditions to be close to sweltering, as temperatures are forecast to rise by about 2 to 6 degrees. The capital region will see temperatures rebounding to 29 degrees Celsius. On Sunday afternoon, southern parts of country will see light rainfall. Chances are high that these showers will spread nationwide overnight.
In the meantime, dry weather advisories are issued for inland regions of the Gyeongsang-do provinces. The coastlines even have gusty offshore winds in the forecast as well. Under such conditions of dry air and gusty winds, anything that catches fire has the potential to spread quickly. Please take extra precautions.
Sunny conditions will dominate for the morning hours. Seoul and Gwangju will start off at 16 degrees.
Daytime temperatures will rise significantly, causing wide temperature gaps. Seoul and Busan will get up to 29 degrees. Chuncheon 30. Gwangju 31 degrees.
