South Korea will seek to achieve carbon neutrality by pursuing the right blend of nuclear power, renewable energy, and natural gas.
That's President Yoon Suk-yeol earlier this morning as he opened the 28th World Gas Conference in the nation's southeastern city of Daegu.
"It's probably no exaggeration to say that our sustainable growth and future depend on energy policy.
We need to pursue the right blend of nuclear power, renewable energy, and natural gas."

Noting the growing importance of energy security, President Yoon emphasized diversifying import sources and boosting private sector-led investment overseas.
Yoon came into office earlier this month on a pledge to scrap his predecessor's nuclear phase-out policy.
Meanwhile some 20-thousand industry leaders and policymakers from 80 countries are attending the world's largest triennial global gas event this year.
