The European Union pledged to provide 500 million euros' worth of military support to Ukraine.
EU's foreign policy chief made the announcement on Friday while speaking at the G7 foreign ministers meeting on Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
At the session, Germany vowed the G7 aims to provide "a powerful sign of unity" while British Foreign Secretary highlighted the importance of pressuring President Vladimir Putin by supplying weapons to Ukraine and increasing sanctions on Moscow.
The top diplomat of France emphasized G7 members are strongly united in their support of Ukraine's fight for sovereignty.
