South Korea on Wednesday reported 43,9-hundred-25 new COVID-19 infections.
That's down more than 6-thousand from the previous day's tally.
And the figure is down more than 5-thousand from a week ago.
There were 29 related deaths.
The number of critically ill was at 3-hundred-83.
This comes a week and a half after South Korea lifted its outdoor mask mandate for most situations.
Meanwhile according to health authorities, those aged 18 and below are increasingly making up a greater portion of total daily infections.
