So, with the surge in global popularity of K-pop, we're also seeing a high demand in K-pop training know hows. What exactly are they looking for?
What differentiates K-pop training from the average training of idol stars overall?
What do you think of this kind of initiative by the government to invite foreign artists to Korea to train in K-pop? Do you think this is necessary on our part to invest in these kinds of projects? Or should we leave it to the private sector?
Are there few K-pop training centers in these Asian countries? What is the merit of coming all the way to Korea?
How do you think these K-pop training programs will impact the pop music industry in these foreign artists’ home countries respectively? Could it lead to new genres of music being created such as V-pop, P-pop or S-pop (Vietnam, Philippines, Singapore)?
We’ve touched upon this previously as well, but if they sing in their own languages, can this be considered K-pop? Again, we go back to the question - what is K-pop?
