The operator of the tsunami-ravaged Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant has revealed it discovered issues with the plant's filtration system that filters out radioactive material.
Tokyo Electric Power Company says filters installed in at least 10 of the 25 sites were damaged.
However, TEPCO stressed that radiation levels have not increased in nearby areas.
This is not the first time TEPCO has reported issues with the plant's filters.
It had to change them at all 25 sites two years ago as they were not working properly.
