The nation reported 332 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday, returning to the 300s for the first time in about a week.
Even so, cluster infections continue across the nation, especially from churches and religious facilities.
Of Monday's new cases, 313 were locally transmitted, most of which were in the greater Seoul area.
19 were from overseas.
5 more people have died of the virus, raising the death toll to 1,562 .
