South Korea has given out most of its third round of COVID-19 emergency relief funds.
According to the Finance Ministry Wednesday, financial relief has been has provided to more than 3.6 million people.
That's 88-and-a-half percent the number of people eligible to get it.
The funds were given swiftly as officials wanted to get the money out before the Lunar New Year holiday which begins next Thursday.
Three.five billion U.S. dollars has been provided so far, mainly to small business owners, the self-employed, and freelancers.
