President Moon Jae-in is overseeing preparations for the transport, storage and distribution of COVID-19 vaccines with the country expected to start inoculations this month.
On Wednesday, he visited Incheon International Airport, where mock ups of the vaccine transportation process have been underway this week.
There, President Moon was briefed on the preparations and inspected the process.
He called for utmost care as vaccines are temperature sensitive. and said it was necessary to prepare for any possible variables, such as vaccines getting lost before reaching South Korea.
