Seung-min, how much rain can we expect tomorrow?

Well, Conn-young. Tomorrow will be a wet day nationwide with moderate rainfall. Showers will start from Jeju Island in the morning and will gradually spread across the nation during the daytime. Most regions, including the Seoul metropolitan area, will see 5 to 20 millimeters of rain. In mountainous areas of Gangwon-do Province, where temperatures are especially low, rain may even turn into snow.

Korea divides its seasons into 24 divisions depending on the location of the sun and today marks the very last one, 'Daehan', which means ‘peak of coldness’. However, unlike what the name signifies, we won’t have to worry about the cold so much. Due to warm southerly winds, temperatures will stay higher than the seasonal norms.

The morning will start off with overcast skies in most regions. Seoul will begin at zero degrees Celsius.

There will be rainy spells nationwide in the daytime. Seoul will hit 7 degrees. Gwangju, Gyeongju and Busan 12 degrees.

The forecast over the next few days in South Korea looks relatively warm, but with frequent outbreaks of rain. So, make sure to have your umbrellas handy.
