The cold snap which gripped the nation has now finally eased off, but smog and fine dust are flowing in from overseas.
Let's turn to our Lee Seung-min at the Weather Center.
Seung-min, what do we have in store for tomorrow?
Well, Conn-young. We'll continue with this pattern of relatively, mild weather for tomorrow. Daytime readings will again surpass the seasonal norms, with Seoul reaching 6 degrees, Gangneung 9 degrees and Gwangju 13 degrees.
But the mild weather is facilitating the inflow of smog and fine dust from overseas. Dust levels will continue to stay at level ‘very bad’ for central regions, and ‘bad’ for the rest of the nation. Air quality will slowly be restored on the weekend with the help of rain and snow.
The entire nation will start off with sunny spells for the morning. Seoul and Daejeon will begin at minus 5 degrees Celsius.
The daytime will be just as warm as today. Highs will be in between 6 to 15 degrees.
On Friday, light rain and mixed snow are expected nationwide. Enjoy the mild weather for the next few days, as on Sunday lows will plunge down well into the negative figures.
Meanwhile, dry conditions are continuing across the east coast, where no rain or snow is in forecast. Please take extra precautions against forest fires.
That's all for now, and here are the weather conditions around the world.
