Train tickets in Korea for next month's Lunar New Year holiday, Seollal, are not going to be sold at the train stations, to prevent crowding, and will only be available online or over the phone.
KORAIL says tickets will first go on sale to senior citizens and people with disabilities on January 19th.
Other passengers can get tickets on January 20th and 21st.
As was the case last year for the Korean thanksgiving holiday Chuseok, KORAIL is only going to sell window seats to keep people from sitting together.
Anyone caught riding without paying will be fined 10 times the ticket price.
This year, the Seollal holiday joins up with the weekend, giving a four-day break to most people from February 11th to the 14th.
