Twitter says it has permanently suspended U.S. President Donald Trump's account, due to the risk of further incitements to violence.
According to Reuters, the company said they have decided to permanently suspend the account after closely reviewing Trumps' recent tweets.
Twitter added that some of his tweets were in violation of its policy against the glorification of violence.
This follows in the wake of turmoil on the U.S. Capitol Hill on Wednesday by hundreds of his supporters.
Facebook also said earlier this week that it was suspending Trump's account.
