A new survey shows 87-percent of respondents here in the nation are willing to get COVID-19 vaccines.
This is when Gallup Korea asked some 1,500 South Koreans if they plan to get inoculated when the vaccines become available.
This is higher than the 71 percent average among the 32 countries which conducted a similar poll.
32 percent of Koreans are "certain" to get the vaccine, while 55 percent said they are "likely" to.
Of those that are "certain", 43-percent were in their 60s or older.
Those aged between 19 and 29 were at 23-percent.
