25% of past month's COVID-19 infections in S. Korea came from family member: PM Updated: 2020-12-28 09:28:09 KST

South Korea's Prime Minister is warning the public about the danger posed by transmitting COVID-19 within the home, citing data that a quarter of past month's new cases were infected by their own family.
Attending a meeting Monday at the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures headquarters, Chung Sye-kyun again emphasized the importance of maintaining social distancing.
He also said this week in particular is critical in reducing the number of infections.
