The warmer weather was nice to have for the past few days, but now fine dust levels are soaring.
Let's go to our Lee Seung-min at the Weather Center.
Seung-min, what's the weather looking like for the weekend?
Well, Conn-young. The cold went away for a while, but fine dust has returned instead. This is because warm, westerly winds are carrying dust from overseas. The west of the nation, including the greater Seoul area, will see high levels of fine dust through tomorrow. Dust concentrations will stand at normal levels elsewhere.
Sub-zero readings will return tomorrow. Morning lows in Seoul will begin at minus one degree Celsius.
Sunny spells will prevail for the daytime in most regions.Seoul will reach 6 degrees. Gwangju, Daegu and Gyeongju at 10 degrees.
Wintry, cold weather will settle back in on Sunday and light snow is in store for the central regions. Next week, we will see blustery, freezing weather with lows in Seoul nearing minus 10 degrees. Make sure to dress warm.
Fine dust and patchy fog across the nation are hindering visibility, especially at night. For those driving, please be careful on the roads.
That's all for now, and here are the weather conditions around the world.
