Good afternoon. Seoul received the season's first snow earlier in the day, they were more like flurries. This year's snow is the latest it has come since 2000. Due to the relatively mild morning temperatures, the snow didn't stick to the roads. In fact, milder than average temperatures will carry on through Saturday.

Back to today's forecast, daily highs will be 1 to 3 degrees higher today. Seoul at 8 degrees, Busan at 13. Lots of clouds will give way to some sunshine as the day moves along.

Meanwhile, central western regions will have high levels of fine dust, while the east coast is still under dry weather alerts.

A mix of rain and snow is on tap for Sunday and that will bring a piercing cold snap to most parts early next week with lows plunging to minus 10 degrees in Seoul.

That's Korea for you and here's a look at the weather conditions around the world.
