Good morning. Seoul received the season's first snow at around 4 am, but they were more like flurries. The first snow came 25 days later than last year, and 19 days later than the average of previous years. Sleet could continue through the morning. Drive with care. Central regions could see snow returning in the afternoon.
Thankfully, we are not waking up to freezing morning temperatures so snow won't stick to the roads. Highs will also be couple notches higher across the country.
Morning lows are 3 to 10 degrees higher than the same time yesterday. It is at the freezing mark in Daejeon and Daegu. We are seeing lots of clouds for most parts of the country.
Daily highs will be 1 to 3 degrees higher today. Seoul at 8 degrees, Busan at 13 with some sunshine in parts of the south.
A mix of rain and snow is on tap for Sunday and that will bring biting cold temperatures to most parts early next week with lows plunging to minus 10 degrees in Seoul.
