Market Wrap Up: Stocks turn positive with rising COVID-19 cases, stimulus in focus Updated: 2020-12-09 04:20:27 KST

Wall Street turned positive Tuesday, shaking off earlier losses as investors weighed rising coronavirus cases in the U.S. against optimism over a stronger recovery in 2021.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed point-4 percent.
The S&P 500 rose point-3 percent, and the tech-heavy NASDAQ added point-5 percent to finish at 12,582.77.

Oil prices were mixed with Brent Crude up point-3 percent.
WTI edged down point-2 percent to 45-dollars and 66 cents a barrel.
