The Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan, originally scheduled for this summer but pushed back to next year, are expected to cost the country roughly another 1.9 billion dollars in expenses.
That's according to the organizing committee, as reported by the Yomiuri Shimbun newspaper.
These costs include refunds for organizations that had reserved the Olympic facilities next summer, extra labor costs and so on.
Originally, last December, the total cost of the Games was estimated at around 13 billion dollars.
Now with the extra costs, it's expected to be about 15 billion.
