Chillier mornings are expected tomorrow and cold wave alerts are set to be issued in some parts of the country .
Let's go to our Lee Seung-min at the Weather Center.
Seung-min, thanks to the cold winds, air quality in central regions has improved?
Well, Conn-young. Fine dust levels have eased in parts of central regions, including the Seoul Metropolitan area. However, the gusty winds that are moving toward the south are carrying ultrafine dust, temporarily producing poor air quality. Cleaner air conditions will be restored by tomorrow.
A stronger cold front is on the way for tomorrowbringing temperatures down to four degrees in the capital. A cold wave alert is forecast to be issued at 11PM in parts of Chungcheongbuk-do, Gyeongsangbuk-do, and mountainous areas of Gangwon-do provinces.
The morning will start off cold in other areas as well. Chuncheon will be especially cold at one degree Celsius.
For the daytime, Seoul will reach 16 degrees, Daejeon and Gwangju at 17 degrees, and Gyeongju at 19 degrees.
We’re seeing dry conditions across the nation, but this will be eased with rainfall in forecast for the south on Sunday.
Until the rain comes, cold mornings of single figures will continue across the Peninsula. Please dress warmly and make sure to not catch a cold at this time.
That's all for now, and here are the weather conditions around the world.
